EnvokeIT Support Manager

Many ICT departments are struggling with service calls. The 1st line can not determine all the necessary information to solve the issue or provide the 2nd line with this information. Also 1st line employees often are lost in the big amount of tools, which needs to be consulted to check the user settings. EnvokeIT, already known of some very useful freeware tools, released a new commercial product called Support Manager, which should solve this kind of issues. This review will take a look at this product.

Denamik LoadGen 1.1

One of the most difficult tasks during the implementation of a SBC project is to determine the load your environment can handle. Till some time ago there was only expensive software available like Mercury or Scapa that were giving satisfying results. Citrix also had there freeware Citrix Server Test Kit but the product was not really usable. To fill up the gap Daniel Nikolic developed Denamik LoadGen. The software is free to use with 150 users for 180 days, but for more users and days commercial solutions are available.

ShutdownPlus TSE

Another product of WMSoftware made for the TS environment. ShutdownPlus as the name implies is basically setup to shutdown the TS environment with additional options. Think of scheduling the restarts of the server, deleting temporary files, clean-up cookies, save open user documents.
