The first E2EVC (in Europe) in 2023 was held from the 4th of May till the 7th of May. This time it was again in Berlin in the Novotel Tiergarten (which was also an earlier E2EVC location in the past). On the first day (Thursday the 4th of May) several additional (paid) masterclasses were offered, while the official program was starting on Friday. I attended mostly the sessions on Saturday, from which you can read my experiences in this blog.
On the 22nd of March 2023 it was already time for our first DuCUG event in 2023. Again at the Duikenburg in Echteld. In this blog item my experiences and summarizations of the presentations provide on this day are written down.
From the 4th till the 6th of November 2022 E2EVC Athens (called Acropolis) took place. With nice weather conditions (except Sunday), a nice venue and (logically) a good atmosphere E2E VC was a great success again. My experiences of this event are written down in this blog.
On the 28th of September we organized our second event of the year. The event was held again at our 'home' location De Duikenburg in Echteld. In this blog the experiences of this special day as we also celebrated our 10 year anniversary.
After the sessions on the first day we had a dinner together at the event location and after that I ended up with a large group of Dutchies and Erik ߘ頴o drink a couple of beers together. It was a nice evening/night, but it became not too late to be fresh and fruity available at the start of day 2. Pretty much people made it to the first sessions of the day actually, I won’t make any remarks on the state of everyone. Nevertheless read my experiences of day 2 of E2EVC Berlin 2022 further in this blog.
From Friday the 10th of June till Sunday the 12th of June E2EVC Berlin was taken place. My first in-person event abroad after the COVID period. It was good to see that lots of people were there again. My experiences of day one is in this blog, the second day will follow shortly.
As all COVID restrictions are lifted in the Netherlands we as the DuCUG Steering Committee could finally organize a full DuCUG event again after an edition in October 2021 with limited attendees. Below you can read my experiences of DuCUG 2201-1 event (aka DUCUG#20).
Almost two years ago we held our last in-person DuCUG event and around 1 ½ year ago we needed to postpone (and later actually cancel) our already fully planned first event in 2020, logically all based on the COVID 19 pandemonic.
However we were back on the 29th of September. Still with a limited amount of people but nevertheless good to see the Dutch community crowd again. This time Barry opened the event. Logically this time besides thanking the sponsors we also needed to mention the COVID period and the journey we went through organizing events in such a specific period.
Our second 2019 event (DuCUG 2019-02, now also known as event #17) held at the Sta@rt near the Apenheul. Traditionally Niek Boevink opened the event with a nice, interesting and funny presentation. Of course again a big thanks to the platinum sponsors.

The alarm clock rung at 3:30am to drive to the airport heading to Berlin for the E2EVC Berlin. Wonderful weather in Berlin and a wonderful event location. My experiences of the first day of the E2EVC Berlin are written down in this blog.
On 15 March 2019 the first DuCUG event took place again at the Oude Duikenburg in Echteld. A location where we were already several times. It’s almost the home of the DuCUG. In this blog you read my experiences of the day.

From the 8th till the 10th of June 2018 the E2EVC Amsterdam 2018 took place again. Already the 38th event and as this event in the Netherlands it was a kind of home match for me (just one hour fifteen minutes ride without traffic jams from my home). Although it was in the Netherlands again a lot of Dutch people were there again. Unfortunate I only could attend the first day, family priorities made it impossible to join on the weekend days. Nevertheless I blogged my experiences of the first day.
